On Thursday February 6th, starting at 11:00pm EST, the Pawbly platform will undergo an important upgrade. The new version of our system is built on an entirely new code base with a completely redesigned interface. As a result, you will enjoy significantly enhanced speed and what we hope will be a superb user experience.
What will happen to my profile? What about questions that I have asked and/or answered? All your information will be backed up and safely migrated to the new system before the transition. Your profile information — as well as your prior questions and/or answers — will be readily available and accessible in the new system.
So what’s going to change? Based on specific feedback from many passionate pet parents and pet professionals, we have added new features that we hope will greatly enhance your experience:
- Social Interaction – You’ll be able to share your pets and pet experiences with friends and family as well as follow advice from your favorite veterinarians, trainers, groomers, and other pet professionals.
- Questions & Answers Grouped Into Topics – To help you find the resources you need quickly questions & their answers are now groups by topics. You can explore everything on Pawbly related to “Dogs” or “Kitten Behavior” with a simple click.
- Greater Social Media Integration – We’ve extended your ability to login to Pawbly to include LinkedIn and Google+. We’ve also included options to share your Pawbly posts, questions, and answers on your favorite social media sites.
- Search Everything – One of our biggest enhancements in version 2.0 is certainly the ability to search. Whether you’re looking for a pet professional, a specific question, or scanning topics to find resources for your pets, our new search feature will be a great help!
Is there anything I should do at this point? No. The purpose of this email is simply to inform you of these upcoming changes. We are excited about the new possibilities this upgrade gives us to enhance our service to pets and their people.
Is there anything I need to do after the upgrade? If you normally sign in to Pawbly using your Facebook or Twitter account, then no. If you have been logging into Pawbly using your email address and password, you will need to click on the ‘reset password’ link on the new login page. You will then receive an email with instructions on logging in to the new platform.
